STORMPAY.COM WEEKLY RACING SERIES ROUND UP FOR JUNE 18

               CARTERSVILLE, GA – It was a big weekend for the “Milton Mafia,” as StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series South Region point leader Frank Wilson of Milton, FL christened the newest StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series track, Southern Raceway in Milton, FL, with his fifth win of the season on Saturday night.

                Wilson, in 20 StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series South Region starts, has 668 points based on his 16 best finishes.  “Milton Mafia” members also hold the second and third spots in the StormPay.com WRS South Region points after the 12th week of the 27-week season.

               Bobby Morrison of Milton, FL is second with 556 points in 14 starts, and Scott Sessions of Milton, FL is third with 517 points in 14 starts.  Wilson’s, Morrison’s, and Sessions’ home track, Southern Raceway, will now be a part of the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series South Region every Saturday night.

 Dewayne Morris of River Falls, AL is fourth with 448 points in 14 starts.  Josh Huss of Flomaton, AL posted his fourth StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series South Region win of the season on Friday night Blackman Motor Speedway in Blackman , FL.   The victory put Huss in the fifth spot of the StormPay.com WRS South Region with 432 points in ten starts.

 Richard Guidry of Port Allen, LA is sixth with 431 points in 11 starts.  Taylor Jarvis of Milton, FL is the fourth “Milton Mafia” member in the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series South Region, holding down the seventh spot with 387 points in 12 starts.

 Donald Watson of Greenwell Springs, LA is eighth with 368 points in nine starts, and Chris Coggin of Orange Beach, AL is ninth with 360 points in nine starts.  Jerry Bevis of Zachary, LA rounds out the top ten with 349 points in nine starts.

Another top story from the weekend in StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series action involves Jay Blair of Angie , LA.   The “Angie Assassin” has been successful, not only in the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series, but also in the StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series National Tour, where Blair is fourth in the points with one win on the season.

When Blair is not on the road competing for the StormPay.com National Championship, he competes in StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series action at tracks in both the South and West Regions.  Blair has a total of nine StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series victories, five in the West Region and four in the South Region.

Blair took a West Region win on Friday night at Southern Speedway in Hattiesburg , MS , and then was victorious in the South Region on Saturday night at A1 Raceway in Slidell , LA.

In other South Region action over the weekend, Davin Bates of Independence, LA took his first StormPay.com WRS win of the season on Saturday night at Pike County Speedway in McComb, MS.  Ryan Little of Satsuma, AL picked up his third win of the season on Saturday night at Deep South Speedway in Loxley , AL .  Bert Tompkins of Fitzpatrick, AL won his second StormPay.com WRS win of the season on Saturday night at Butler County Motorsports Park in Greenville , AL .

Jimmy Elkins Jr. of Talladega, AL still leads the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series East Region, but Logan Yates of Delta, AL is closing fast. Yates took his seventh win of the season and his second straight on Saturday night at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga , AL .  Elkins has 636 points based on his 16 best finishes in 17 starts, while Yates has 490 points in the second spot after ten starts.

Parrish Duncan of Newnan, GA holds down the third spot with 432 points in 11 starts, and Curtis Cline of Douglasville, GA is fourth with 422 points in 11 starts.  Chad Wallace of LaGrange, GA was the winner for the fifth-time this season on Friday night at Penton Raceway in Penton , AL .  Wallace’s second straight win keeps him in the fifth spot with 417 points in 11 starts.

Adam Martin of Talladega, AL is in the sixth spot of the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series East Region point standings with 413 points in ten starts, and Dustin Stewart of Eastaboga, AL is seventh with 375 points in ten starts.

Corey Korreckt of Lincoln, AL is eighth with 369 points in ten starts, and Darel Ownbey of Calhoun, GA is ninth with 324 points in seven starts.  Jimmy Kay of Taylorsville, GA rounds out the top ten in the StormPay.com WRS East Region point standings with 305 points in eight starts.

In other StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series East Region action over the weekend, Doug Kilgore of Dalton, GA kicked off Friday night racing at North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, GA with his first win of the season.  North Georgia Speedway will now compete on Friday nights for the rest of the 2007 season with StormPay.com WRS East Region excitement.

Herman Reynolds of Laurel, MS continues to lead the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region point standings with 643 points based on his 16 best finishes in 18 starts.  The defending StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region Champion Lucky Keeton of Toomsuba, MS is in the second spot with 514 points in 11 starts.

Dallas Mozingo of Laurel, MS is third with 395 points in ten starts, and Larry Murphy of Meridian, MS is fourth with 362 points in eight starts.  Owen Stockstill of Columbia, MS with nine starts is tied for the fifth spot with Blair, who has eight starts.  Each driver has 343 points.

Roger Rollison of Meridian, MS is seventh in the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region points chase with 303 points in eight starts, and Terry Mosley of Gilbertown, AL is eighth with 302 points in seven starts.  Jim Moon of Zionsville, IN and Mark Tice of Hollandale, MS are tied for the ninth spot, each with 299 points.  Moon has seven starts and Tice has eight starts.

Along with Blair, other winners over the weekend in StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region competition included first-time WRS winner Mike Boland of Cuba , AL on Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian , MS .

Two other first time winners were Mike Ellis of Tupelo , MS on Saturday night at Columbus Speedway in Columbus , MS , and Brian Berhardt on Saturday night at Twin Cities Raceway Park in North Vernon , IN.   Monticello Speedway in Monticello, AR was rained out on Saturday night.
