STORMPAY.COM WEEKLY RACING SERIES ROUND UP FOR JUNE 4

CARTERSVILLE , GA – Frank Wilson of Milton , FL , Herman Reynolds of Laurel, MS and Jimmy Elkins Jr. of Talladega, AL continue to lead their respective Regions of the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series after Week 10 of the 27-week competition. Many drivers are either at or near their 16 race point where only top finishes will be counted in their point total.

Wilson has accumulated 628 points to lead the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series South Region, and has reached his 16th race. From here on out, Wilson ’s point total will be on a net basis where each week for the rest of the season his worst finish will be eliminated with a higher point total if it is achieved.

Reynolds leads the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region with 548 points based on his 14 events competed in during the first ten weeks. Likewise, Elkins has competed in 14 events and has tallied 555 points to lead the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series East Region.

Trailing Wilson in the South Region are fellow “Milton Mafia” members Bobby Morrison of Milton , FL , who has 519 points in 13 starts, and Scott Sessions of Milton , FL in third with 482 points in 13 starts. Dewayne Morris of River Falls, AL is fourth with 383 points in 12 starts.

Richard Guidry of Port Allen, LA was the winner on Friday night at Baton Rouge Raceway in Baton Rouge, LA, and moved up to the fifth spot in the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series South Region with 355 points in nine starts.

Josh Huss of Flomaton, AL took his third StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series South Region win of the season on Friday night at Blackman Motor Speedway in Blackman , FL. Huss is sixth in the South Region points chase with 350 points in eight starts. Kevin Watts of Denham Springs, LA is seventh with 344 points in nine starts.

Donald Watson of Greenwell Springs, LA took his third StormPay.com WRS South Region win of the season on May 27 at Pike County Speedway in McComb, MS, and is eighth in the point standings with 330 points in eight starts. Taylor Jarvis of Milton, FL is ninth with 313 points in 10 starts, and Jerry Bevis of Zachary, LA rounds out the top ten with 309 points in eight starts after winning at Baton Rouge Raceway on May 25.

In other StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series South Region action, Darin Dorsey of Brandon, MS took the win at Pike County Speedway on May 26, and Jay Blair of Angie, LA picked up his third straight South Region win on Saturday night at Pike County Speedway.

Chris Coggin of Orange Beach , AL captured his fourth South Region win of the season on Saturday night at Deep South Speedway in Loxley , AL . Jeremy Broadus of Biloxi, MS was the winner on Saturday night at A1 Raceway in Slidell , LA.

The defending StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region Champion Lucky Keeton of Toomsuba, MS has 438 points in nine starts, and is second to Reynolds in the StormPay.com WRS West Region. Dallas Mozingo of Laurel, MS is third with 324 points in eight starts.

Terry Mosley of Gilbertown, AL posted his fourth StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region victory of the season on Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian , MS . Mosley moved into the fourth spot in the West Region with 272 points in six starts. Owen Stockstill of Columbia, MS is fifth with 268 points in seven starts.

Mark Tice of Hollandale, MS is sixth in the West Region with 267 points in seven starts, and Larry Murphy of Meridian, MS is seventh with 266 points in six starts. Blair took the win on Friday night at Southern Speedway in Hattiesburg , MS , and is eighth with 260 points in six starts with four wins.

Jim Moon of Zionsville, IN is ninth in the West Region with 257 points in six starts. Wiley Williams of Stonewall, MS rounds out the top ten in the StormPay.com WRS West Region with 242 points in six starts.

In other StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region action, Marcus Frisch was the winner at Monticello Speedway in Monticello, AR on May 26, and Mark Stokes of Columbus, MS picked up his first StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region win of the season on Saturday night at Columbus Speedway in Columbus, MS. Monticello Speedway rained out on Saturday night.

Logan Yates of Delta, MS is second to Elkins in the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series with 390 points in eight starts. Parrish Duncan of Newnan, GA won his second StormPay.com WRS East Region win of the season on Saturday night by besting a 30-car field at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga , AL to move into the third spot with 354 points in nine starts.

Adam Martin of Talladega, AL is fourth with 345 points in eight starts, and Chad Wallace of LaGrange, GA moved into the fifth spot in the StormPay.com WRS East Region points with his third win of the season on Friday night at Penton Raceway in Penton, AL. Wallace has 337 points in nine starts.

Corey Korreckt of Lincoln, AL is tied for the sixth in the East Region with Curtis Cline of Douglasville, GA. Each driver has 297 points in eight starts. Darel Ownby of Calhoun, GA is eighth with 276 points in six starts, and Jimmy Kay of Taylorsville, GA is ninth with 275 points in seven starts. Keith Freeman of Commerce, GA rounds out the top ten in the East Region with 263 points in seven starts.
