STORMPAY.COM WEEKLY RACING SERIES ROUND UP FOR MAY 14

               CARTERSVILLE, GA – Week seven saw a full slate of StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series action, and Herman Reynolds of Laurel, MS used a pair of second-place finishes to retake the West Region point lead from the defending StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region Champion Lucky Keeton of Toomsuba, MS.

                Jimmy Elkins Jr. of Talladega, AL continues to lead the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series East Region, and Frank Wilson of Milton, FL remains on top of the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series South Region points chase.

               Reynolds with 311 points leads Keeton by 15 points in the West Region.  Mississippi drivers occupy the top ten spots in the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region point standings.  Dallas Mozingo of Laurel, MS is third with 208 points, and Owen Stockstill of Columbia, MS is fourth with 197 points.

Jay Blair of Angie, LA took two wins over the weekend in StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series competition in two different divisions.  Blair was the winner on Friday night at Southern Speedway in Hattiesburg , MS to move into the fifth spot in the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region with 178 points.

Shannon Lee of Lumberton, MS is sixth in the West Region points with 155, and Mark Tice of Hollandale, MS is seventh with 153 points.  Larry Murphy of Meridian, MS is eighth with 134 points, and Scott Ladner of Meridian, MS is ninth with 130 points.  Jamey Smith of Purvis, MS and Wiley Williams of Stonewall, MS are tied for the tenth spot in the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region point standings with 128 apiece.

In other StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region action over the weekend, T.K. King of Columbus , MS drove to his second straight win on Saturday night at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus , MS .  Terry Mosley of Gilbertown, AL took the win on Saturday night at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian , MS .

Paul Davis Sr. of West Monroe, LA picked up his second win of the season on Saturday night in StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series West Region action at Monticello Speedway in Monticello , AR.  Twin Cities Raceway Park in North Vernon , IN did not report their Saturday night results.

Elkins has 391 points to hold a 109-point lead over Logan Yates of Delta, AL .  Yates was the winner on Saturday night for the fourth time this season at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga , AL , and now has 282 points.  Duncan Parrish of Newnan, GA is third with 268 points, and Adam Martin of Talladega, AL is fourth with 267 points.

Chad Wallace of LaGrange, GA is fifth in the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series East Region points chase with 228 points, and Corey Korreckt of Lincoln, AL is sixth with 227 points.  Darel Owenby of Calhoun, GA is seventh with 216 points, and Jeremy Pruitt of Chattanooga, TN is eighth with 200 points.

Brandon Haley of Lavonia, GA sits in the ninth spot of the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series East Region point standings with 194 points, while Keith Freeman of Commerce, GA and Jimmy Kay of Taylorsville, GA are tied for the tenth spot, each with 187 points.  Freeman picked up his second straight win at Lavonia Speedway in Lavonia, GA on Saturday night.

Shane Roberts of Blountville, TN and Curtis Cline of Douglasville, GA were two drivers that collected two first-place trophies apiece over the week in StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series East Region competition.

Roberts won a pair of feature races on Tuesday night at 411 Motor Speedway in Knoxville , TN , and his third straight to remain undefeated at the track.  Cline was the winner on Friday night at Penton Raceway in Penton , AL , and then took the win on Saturday night at North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth , GA.

The “Milton Mafia” controls the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series South Region, as drivers from Milton , FL hold the top three points positions, and four of the top seven positions.

Wilson has 402 points, and holds a 95-point lead over Bobby Morrison of Milton , FL.   Scott Sessions of Milton, FL is in the third spot with 287 points, and Kevin Watts of Denham Springs, LA is fourth with 267 points.  Dewayne Morris of River Falls, AL is fifth with 258 points, and Richard Guidry of Port Allen, LA is sixth with 239 points.

Taylor Jarvis of Milton, FL is seventh in the StormPay.com Weekly Racing Series South Region points with 225 points, and Josh Huss of Flomaton, AL is eighth with 222 points.  Huss picked up his second win of the season on Friday night at Blackman Motor Speedway in Blackman , FL.   Jerry Bevis of Zachary, LA is ninth with 194 points, and Robert Nevels of Denham Springs, LA rounds out the top ten of the StormPay.com WRS South Region with 191 points.

Blair took his second StormPay.com WRS win of the weekend on Saturday night by winning the season opener at A1 Raceway in Slidell , LA.   The victory was the fifth StormPay.com WRS win of the season for the “Angie Assassin.”

In other StormPay.com WRS South Region action over the weekend, Donald Watson of Baton Rouge, LA was the winner on Friday night at Baton Rouge Raceway in Baton Rouge, LA, and Ryan Little of Satsuma, AL took the win on Saturday night at Deep South Speedway in Loxley, AL.  Chris Hoomes of Brewton, AL was the winner on Saturday night at Butler County Motorsports Park in Greenville , AL .
