BAY RACEWAY PARK UP NEXT FOR THE STORMPAY.COM DLMS NATIONAL TOUR
CARTERSVILLE, GA – The StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series
National Tour will travel to East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, FL for
rounds three, four and five of the 2007 season on February 22, 23, and
24. The series will
present a complete show each night, and there will be an open practice
session on February 21 from
6 p.m.
to
9 p.m.
The races on February 22 and 23 will feature 40-lap main events
paying $2,500-to-win. The
third race on February 24 will feature a 50-lap main event paying
$3,000-to-win.
Competitors are also reminded that mufflers are required for the
East
Bay
Raceway
Park
events.
The mufflers
required must be external mufflers meeting a 98-decibel limit with no
inserted mufflers allowed.
Chip Brindle of Chatsworth, GA and Frank Ingram of Woodstock,
GA are tied for the StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series National
Touring point lead, with Derrick Rainey of Powder Springs, GA two
points behind in the third spot after the first two events of the 2007
season.
The defending StormPay.com DLMS National Champion David Gentry
of
Lewisburg
,
TN
is in the fourth spot,
ten points behind the leaders. Matthew
Turner of Dawsonville, GA leads a tight four-way battle for the fifth
spot with just 12 points separating Turner from Chris Tays of Corinth,
MS, Michael Keener of Temple, GA, and Jeff Fields of Aragon, GA.
