NeSMITH CHEVROLET WEEKLY RACING SERIES WEEK 14 PREVIEW

               CARTERSVILLE, GA – There will be a limited Week 14 schedule of events for the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series with six races, three in the East Region and three in the West Region, as many tracks will take the July 4^th Holiday weekend off.  There will be three opportunities, however, for drivers to earn Regional bonus points.

               The trio of NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series East Region races will be held on Saturday night at Flomaton Speedway in Flomaton , AL , New Senoia Raceway in Senoia , GA , and Mountain Raceway Park in Maryville , TN .   Mountain Raceway Park will run a pair of $400-to-win 20-lap races, with a $200 bonus to win both for a possible $1,000-to-win.

               Eligible drivers can earn up to 75 Regional bonus points by competing in three NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Touring events as a part of the Firecracker Nationals with the $2,000-to-win Stars and Stripes 40 on Friday night, and the $2,500-to-win Salute To America 50 at 441 Speedway in Dublin, GA on Saturday night.  East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, AL will present the $2,500-to-win Salute To The Armed Forces 50 on Sunday night. 

NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series competitors, who compete at sanctioned weekly track throughout the Southeast, can earn up to 150 bonus points that are added to their best 16 point night totals.  Competitors earn 25 bonus points at each NeSmith Chevrolet DLMS National Touring events up to the 150-point limit.

               The three West Region Week 14 events will be in conjunction with the NeSmith Super Dirt Car Series Four Crown Nationals that will be co-sanctioned by the Promoters Racing Organization (PRO) Dirt Car Series.

NeSmith Chevrolet WRS West Region competition will begin with a $1,000-to-win race at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, MS on Thursday night, with Central Mississippi Speedway in Winona, MS in action on Friday night.  Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus , MS will present a West Region event on Sunday night.
