EAMS NeSMITH CHEVROLET DLMS RACE RESCHEDULED FOR JULY 4

               CARTERSVILLE, GA – The NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series $2,500-to-win Salute To The Armed Forces 50 at East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, AL has been rescheduled for Sunday night, July 4.  The EAMS race will now be a part of the NeSmith Chevrolet DLMS Firecracker Nationals and will be the third race of a Holiday Weekend Series.

               The first two events of the Firecracker Nationals will be at 441 Speedway in Dublin , GA with the $2,000-to-win Stars and Stripes 40 on Friday night, July 2, and the $2,500-to-win Salute To America 50 on Saturday night, July 3.  There will be over $35,000 in prize money up for grabs over the three-race weekend.

               The East Alabama Motor Speedway race on July 4 will also mark a major milestone for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series, as it is scheduled to be the 100^th race for the National Tour since its inception in 2005.  Series competitor Matthew Turner of Dawsonville , GA is the only driver in series history to have competed in every series event.
