NeSMITH CHEVROLET WEEKLY RACING SERIES WEEK 11 PREVIEW
The NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series West Region Week 11
competition begins with three events on Friday night with Batesville Motor
Speedway in Batesville, AR, Hattiesburg Motorsports Park in Hattiesburg,
MS, and North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, AL scheduled for action.
On Saturday night, NeSmith Chevrolet WRS West Region races will be
held at A1 Raceway in Slidell, LA, Columbus Speedway in Columbus, MS,
Greenville Speedway in Greenville, MS, Jackson Motor Speedway in Jackson,
MS, and Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS.
The five NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series East Region events
will all be held on Saturday night at East Alabama Motor Speedway in
Phenix City, AL, Flomaton Speedway in Flomaton, AL with a $1,000-to-win

There has already been one East Region event held in Week 11 with

Looking at the Event Point Averages (EPAs) for the top ten drivers
in both the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series West and East Regions
provides a gauge on the progress of the competitors as they work towards
the 16 race mark. The EPAs are
calculated minus any bonus points. A drivers’ best 16 point nights count
towards their Regional point total, plus up to 150 bonus points for
competing in up to six NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National
Touring events. A perfect 16
event Regional point total with all bonus points available is 950.
No driver has yet to reach the 16 event mark, nor the entire 150
bonus points. The top two drivers in the NeSmith
Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series West Region point standings do not have any
bonus points to date. Keeton
has a total of 524 points in 11 starts for an EPA of 47.64.
Tony Lawson of Laurel, MS is second in the West Region standings
with 459 points in 11 starts for an EPA of 41.73. Cliff Williams of Star, MS has the
second-highest EPA among the West Region top ten at 47.86. Williams
is fifth in the West Region standings with 385 points that includes 50
bonus points. Chad McCool of
Millport, AL is sixth with 355 points that includes 75 bonus points.
McCool has an EPA of 40 in seven West Region starts. Jason Michau of Kilmichael, MS is seventh
in the West Region standings with 353 points in seven starts that includes
50 bonus points for an EPA of 43.29. Mike Palasini Jr. of Leland, MS rounds
out the top ten in the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series West Region
standings with 329 points in six starts that includes 50 bonus points for
an EPA of 46.5. In the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing
Series East Region, Edge leads with 602 points in 13 starts for an EPA of
46.31. Richie Stephens of
Phenix City, AL is second in the East Region standings with 462 points in
ten starts for an EPA of 46.2. Craig
Scott of Newnan, GA is third with 391 points in ten starts for an EPA of
39.1. Larry Harrod of Plains, GA moved up to
the fourth spot in the NeSmith Chevrolet WRS East Region standings with a
second-place finish on Tuesday night at Kevin Maher of McDavid, FL is fifth in
the East Region standings with 380 points in eight starts and has the
second-highest EPA among the top ten in the East Region at 47.5. Dana
Eiland of Salem, AL is sixth with 376 points in nine starts for an EPA of
41.78. Josh Huss of Flomaton,
AL is seventh with 367 points in eight starts for an EPA of 45.86. Tod Darda of LaGrange, GA holds down the
eighth spot in the East Region standings with 363 points in eight starts
for an EPA of 45.38. Ryan King
of Anniston, AL is ninth with 359 points in eight starts for an EPA of
44.86. Parrish Duncan of
Newnan, GA rounds out the top ten in the NeSmith Chevrolet WRS East Region
with 357 points in eight starts for an EPA of 44.63. The NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing
