MERIDIAN, MS – Rick Rickman of Columbus, MS picked up the win on
Saturday night in the 40-lap NeSmith Super Dirt Car Series main event at
Rickman now trails the NeSmith Super Dirt Car Series point leader
David Breazeale of Kosciusko, MS by 18 points in the championship battle
that pays the top point getter $10,000 at the end of the season based on
their best ten point races. Breazeale
finished fourth on Saturday night at
Breazeale has 380 points at the top of the list after one win, one
second-place finish, and two fourth-place efforts in four starts.
Rickman has 362 points with one win, one third-place showing, and
one fourth-place effort in four starts. Although he finished at the tail of the
24-car field on Saturday night at WMP, Dean Carpenter of Coldwater, MS is
third in the NeSmith SDCS standings with 294 points with one top ten
finish in four starts driving the Carpenter Construction Anthony Burroughs of Sheffield, Kyle Beard of Truman, AR is seventh in
the NeSmith Super Dirt Car Series standings with 248 points driving the
Gary Beard Trucking Neil Baggett of Shannon, MS rounds out
the top ten and final points fund paying position in the NeSmith Super
Dirt Car Series standings after four races with 214 points driving the
Caldwell Racing The next event on the 2010 NeSmith Super
Dirt Car Series schedule will be a $2,000-to-win 40-lap race this Friday
night at Penton Raceway in Penton, The NeSmith Super Dirt Car Series is open
to super late models using a variety of engines including open engines,
spec engines, and GM Performance engines sealed at the factory that
include the CT 525 Spec Engine, as well as the 604 and 602 Crate Engines.
A competitive field is produced among the different engines using
